Thunder Beach Spring Rally 2006 Pictures
During one of the nights at this 'biker bar'... in came 3 different sets of Bike Gang Members. Wayne and I both kind of wondered what would happen because of all the stories we've heard over the years. These are SERIOUS biker gangs... The kind I normally wouldn't want to be around. But this night, I was feeling pretty tall and strong and funny and off I went around the bar, taking pictures. For a while, I stayed away from the mean looking people ~ But 3 or 4 drinks later, I got brave and would just start taking their pictures. The funniest part is how these 'mean' gang member guys would pose for a woman with a camera in her hand!! 
The first two pictures are members of THE OUTLAWS! (and a few more down)
Their motto is 1%ers (precenters) and that is what the 'fingers' stand for. They have patches on all their vest that have this picture and all of the women with them were vest that say "Property of the Outlaws". I went to their website and thats is when I really realized what I had got myself right into the middle of! =)

I have found most tough looking bikers are just big teddy bears myself however I have never been in a place with the outlaws gang members before!

I have always been a sucker for bad boy bikers. Something about living on the edge and doing what you please attracts me. Pictures do paint a million words though...and your pictures paint about 3 million. It's funny how they opened up to you...and I totally cracked up at the one of the couple with their tongues hanging out...lmao!! Looks like you taught them a few of your biker tricks ;P

As a nurse I worked in the trauma unit here in Austin and saw a lot of motorcycle injuries. The bad ass gang around here is called The Banditos. They are a motley crew too. Lots of drugs and general meaness. But, I met a lot of them and when one is down they will gather to help blood drives etc. I can go to an outlaw outdoor concert and always meet someone from that group. The funny thing is they all remember me and give me respect. like I get the clean port-a-potty. It pays to know people in high places.
