Confusion & more confusion
Do you ever feel like you are forgetting something? Something possibly very important, something you should remember but can't? This is going on with me right now and I can't stand it! I woke up around 4am, thinking about what I was forgetting! Now, how crazy did that sound? Then after I had my 17 cups of coffee (joking), I was stalking around everyone's blog and reading... Confusion really set in. Mr. Fabulous has a joke up and well... I, once again, don't 'get it'. Nothing uncommon in my little world, but damn.. it's starting to get old not knowing what most people are talking about or what is really goin on in the world. =)
Aren't the new razor phones the neatest looking things out?
Yep. They have a camera and all. I got one a few months back as a surprise from Wayne to go along with my new car. Handy little things. Fits right in my purse or a pocket... The first 'camera' phone I've had, because I was a tad bit behind on times. I've taken a picture with it the other day... It took me a long time to just figure that part out. It was ducks in the lake a male and female. Pretty picture. I just can't figure out how in the world to get it from my phone to my computer! I've tried emailing it ~ It doesn't work... Downloading?!?! HA! I've tried to always stay up to date on the new little gadgets and technology, etc. But I'm a big loser now... It has way past my capabilities! The phone also has Bluetooth, which is why I changed to it in the first place... My new car has Bluetooth and it is actually very convenient... For the parts of it I've figured out! My car has a great navigation system (as seen in the photo below) and has all types of little things it can do, which once again... Convenient ~ But only if you are smart enough to figure it all out! Then there is a way I can hit a button on my steering wheel and say HOME or WAYNE'S STORE or whatever and it will dial it up, turn off the radio, etc. But it WILL NOT WORK IF IT IS NOT STORED IN THERE!!! And once again, confusion.
TECHNOLOGY = More confusion for me!
Wayne called this morning and said he was reading on the internet about the bird flu and what the government is doing to prepare for it to come to the states and cause an epidemic! CRAP! I am scared to death on top of being confused about all he was trying to explain to me. Bird Flu!! I really thought this was something like Mad Cow, we really didn't have to worry about it to much... Doesn't sound so. They said 6-8 weeks in each community, everyone would be sick. Millions of deaths. It's like something out of a science fiction book or possibly in a third world country... But right here? CRAP! While we were talking about it, Wayne said if that happens here, in real life... We would just stay home and not go anywhere until it all passes. HOW? How does life go on and remain the same if we can't leave the house for weeks? Because I know if that is what we would do, millions & millions of others would do it and what would come of it when nobody could leave home? That means no news, radio stations would have nobody to play the music, no police protection, no doctors for when we get sick, nobody to work at the bars (I just had to add that), etc. Even our water system may have problems if the people that work on it aren't at work. CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! Not only am I totally confused about this... Now there is something else for me to worry about! And then there are birds. I feed them. I have bird feeders everywhere. Hummingbird feeders are up already this year with them eating. Should I take them all down so the birds will go somewhere else??? Geez.
*Note: If you look close you can see the baby bird in the picture with the arrow pointing to it.
The other day I posted a picture of some baby birds in one of our bird houses. We have stayed away but as I've sat on my back porch, I've seen the mama bird go in & out daily... with the exception of yesterday. One time when I walked outside, I noticed the sounds a bird was making and it really loud. I continued doing whatever I was doing and a little later, I was inside the house and heard this bird still making the noises, really really loud. Out we went to find what was going on. It was one of the baby birds (I believe) in a tree... Basically screaming. When I got close, it flew to the next tree and then again. But continuing to scream! Wayne checked out the bird house and all the baby birds are gone and so is MAMA. Now, I can't help this bird because he is up in the trees, plus what could I really do to help him anyway. So this leads to more confusion... Does mama birds just take off and leave them? Where are the others? Where is mama? Is this how it works for birds?
Now after all of this rambling I've been doing, I imagine someone is reading this & wondering how 'dumb' I really am. Let me help you sort that out with MY NEW MOTO from that wonderful lady Dolly Parton ~~
